First, magnesium stearate may reduce the bioavailability of active ingredients, hindering their absorption. We chose a natural alternative in the form of L-Leucine, which is an amino acid and, in terms of production, plays the same role as stearate.

As an essential amino acid, L-leucine must be supplied through food, as the body cannot synthesize it on its own. Calcium circulating in the bloodstream doesn’t know where it’s going. Vitamin D3 signals the production of special transport proteins (e.g., osteocalcin), which are produced in a dormant state. To fulfill its role and activate vitamin D3, magnesium must enter our cells in sufficient quantities. Passing magnesium through cellular barriers can be quite a challenge for the body. Vitamin B6 provides crucial support here, acting as a bio-carrier for magnesium . It binds to it and facilitates its efficient and rapid penetration through cell membranes . The presence of vitamin B6 not only increases magnesium absorption but also retains it within the cell, minimizing its premature excretion.
This synergistic formula is completed by the mineral form magnesium malate . The combination of magnesium and malic acid is crucial for the body’s energy production. Malic acid is a natural component of the internal cycle in which the body produces pure cellular energy (ATP). Calcifediol is a metabolite, or product, of the metabolic transformation of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), which occurs in the liver through the process of hydroxylation. Therefore, if despite supplementing with an appropriate dose of vitamin D3, 25(OH)D3 levels do not increase, this may indicate liver problems and the liver’s inability to perform hydroxylation on its own despite the available cholecalciferol reserves.
