FeroMax™ - support in iron deficiency

Iron plays an undisputed role in the human body. As a trace element that supports cell health and division, it is involved in many enzymatic reactions, mainly in the production of hemoglobin and red blood cells. Most of the iron (the amount in the human body is estimated at 4 to 5 g) present in our body is in the form of hemoglobin, the remainder is stored in the liver, spleen and bone marrow or is found in the myoglobin of human muscle tissue.

Iron is the basic component of hemoglobin, a protein contained in erythrocytes, whose main task is to transport oxygen to individual tissues of the body. It plays an important role in human growth and development, including physical and neurological development. Iron is an essential building element of blood – hemoglobin, which contains up to 70% iron. It is estimated that about 25% of iron in the body is stored in the form of ferritin, which is found in cells, circulates in the blood and serves as a kind of iron storage facility.

Iron deficiency has an immediate impact on health and well-being! Fatigue, lack of energy, pale complexion, hair loss are just a few symptoms that may indicate iron deficiency.

It is worth including the diagnosis of iron and ferritin levels in order to find the cause of its deficiency in time.

The synonym for iron is HEALTH and ENERGY, because iron is a key building block of red blood cells, whose task is to carry oxygen throughout the body, i.e. participate in the synthesis of ATP – adenosine triphosphate.

Fatigue and weariness are therefore one of the first symptoms of iron deficiency. Extremely low iron levels may result in complete cessation of movement.

Iron deficiency in medicine has become known as anemia; it occurs when the level of red blood cells drops dramatically. Anemia is characterized not only by lack of energy, but also by dizziness and headache, rapid heartbeat and even shortness of breath. Typical symptoms of hypoxia! Cracked corners of the mouth, nervousness, concentration problems, brittle nails and stomach problems are other problems.

Iron deficiency also affects beauty conditions: hair loss, pale skin, dark circles under the eyes. The above should constitute an impulse for the diagnosis of iron and ferritin levels.

Groups at increased risk of low iron levels include pregnant women, women with heavy periods, blood donors, and people on specific diets – heavily reducing and/or vegan/vegetarian.

Iron deficiency may also affect people with gastrointestinal diseases (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, intestinal cancer) when nutrients are not sufficiently absorbed by the intestines.

Ferritin is one of the most important proteins in the human body because it participates in the process of storing iron, which in turn is used in the synthesis of hemoglobin. It is classified as the so-called acute phase protein.

Testing the ferritin level helps determine the body’s iron stores, which is why ferritin is often called an iron “storehouse”.

Skin products, including hair, are sensitive to the amount of iron in the tissues and the level of hemoglobin, which may contribute to excessive hair loss. Hair loss is one of the primary symptoms of iron deficiency, which can occur in people with anemia or due to other causes such as polycystic ovary syndrome.

In case of excessive hair loss, let’s take care of iron diagnostics!
